Every Roll Checked Before It Leaves Our Factory

Roll-by-roll inspection

Batch-level traceability

Defect rejection before dispatch

Consistency you can verify

QC Happens on the Floor, Not on Paper

Quality control is not a badge you hang on the wall. It is what you do on the production floor.

At Sunithgrass, we inspect every roll of artificial grass before it is packed. That is our standard, not an exception.

For wholesalers and contractors, this means fewer surprises on the job site. We check color consistency, density uniformity, and backing integrity on every roll. Our QC system catches issues early, before they become your problem.

Raw Material Control – Where Quality Begins

Quality starts before the first fiber is extruded. We use virgin PE and PP pellets, new plastic with a clean, traceable origin. This is the starting point for every batch of artificial grass.

What we do:

  • Supplier traceability: We source from Sinopec and other major petrochemical suppliers. Batch numbers are logged for every incoming shipment.
  • Material verification: Incoming raw materials are checked for consistency in color, melt flow, and additive content.
  • Rejection of unknown materials: We do not accept mixed or unidentified recycled plastics. This reduces the risk of contaminants entering our artificial grass.

For wholesalers: this means the artificial grass you receive has a known material history. No guessing. No unknown origins.

Eight Stages, Eight Checks

Our production process runs through eight stages, each with specific checks. If something goes wrong, we catch it before the next step begins.

Eight production stages, eight checkpoints:

  1. Yarn Extrusion: Fiber thickness, color consistency, tensile strength. Out-of-spec yarn is discarded immediately.
  2. Tufting: Stitch rate, pile height, pattern alignment. Adjust machine settings or re-tuft.
  3. Primary Backing Coating: Glue coverage and application uniformity. Re-apply on defective sections.
  4. First Drying: Drying temperature and curing time. Re-run if under-cured.
  5. Secondary Backing Coating: Adhesive strength and gloss finish. Strip and re-apply if adhesion fails.
  6. Second Drying: Full curing and dimensional stability. Re-run if shrinkage occurs.
  7. Aeration: Hole pattern and drainage consistency. Re-punch or discard if misaligned.
  8. Final Inspection: Backing integrity, fiber pull-out resistance, color match, roll dimensions. Any failure means the roll is set aside for rework or disposal.

This is not a marketing claim. This is how we work every day

Final Inspection – The Last Check Before Your Container Leaves

Every roll of artificial grass goes through a final inspection before it leaves our factory. We check:

Fiber pull-out resistance: A sample from each roll is tested to ensure fibers are locked in place. Weak backing means rework.

Color consistency: Each roll is compared against the approved sample under standard lighting. Color mismatch means we do not ship.

Density and stitch rate: We verify the number of tufts per 10cm matches the order specification.

Backing adhesive quality: Uniform glue coverage and adhesion strength are confirmed.

Roll dimensions and packaging: Width, length, and wrapping condition are checked.

Each roll is tagged with a production batch number. This allows us to trace back to the specific yarn batch, machine settings, and QC records if any issue arises after delivery.

Warranty – What We Actually Cover

We do not offer lifetime warranties or cover wear from normal usage. What we do offer is a material defect warranty on issues directly related to our manufacturing process:

  • UV degradation (fading or fiber breakdown beyond normal wear)
  • Fiber pull-out (backing failure that causes premature shedding)
  • Delamination (separation of backing layers)

What this means in practice:

If a defect traces back to our production, we do not hide. We review the case, confirm the cause, and propose a resolution: replacement, credit, or compensation.

Warranty terms are flexible. Some buyers prefer shorter coverage with lower pricing. Others want full protection. We can match different project budgets and usage requirements.

How do I know the bulk order will match the sample?

We keep a reference sample from every production batch. Each roll is inspected against that reference before packing. If color, density, or backing does not match, that roll is reworked or removed. What you approve is what you receive.

What test reports can you provide?

We can provide reports covering:

  1. UV aging resistance
  2. Fiber tensile strength
  3. Backing adhesion strength
  4. Color fastness

We test regularly and can provide reports for the specific artificial grass product you are ordering.

What happens if a quality issue is found after shipment?

We inspect every roll before packing, so issues are rare. If something does go wrong and it traces back to our manufacturing, we review the case, confirm the cause, and propose a resolution. Replacement, credit, or compensation.

Can you provide warranty terms in writing?

Yes. Our standard warranty terms are available upon request. We can also adjust coverage based on your project requirements. Clear terms, no hidden exclusions.

How do you handle color consistency across different containers?

We fix raw material sources before production starts. Every batch uses PE pellets from the same supplier lot. Extrusion parameters are locked. Color stays consistent from one container to the next.
